Trying to split a drug into pieces smaller than halves is a dangerous idea. Ramirez has heard of patients cutting Proscar tablets into fifths, hoping to stretch a one-month, $150 supply into a three-month stash. That's a mistake.
The active ingredient in Proscar, and some other medications, is not evenly spread throughout the tablet. Splitting a 5-milligram Proscar tablet into fifths does not mean you'll get 5 one-milligram doses of the drug. It's more likely that the drug will be divided so unevenly that the doses would be either ineffective or too strong.

I have ordered Proscar after checking thru this website that it is a cheaper and safe alternative to Propecia... but then i have also seen so many ppl on this forum complaining about negative side-effects from taking Proscar...sh*t im so worried now... stopping hair loss wud be great but i cant sacrifice other stuff for it.....
Plz comment on it and if possible tell me about some dermatologist or official Merck comment in this regad.....
Also if ppl here cud tell us about their experience with Proscar(plz inclue dosage) and results... this is something really serious and needs to be discussed widely and urgently.. :-x
