proper use of nizoral?

I use nizoral twice a week. On the nizoral day, am I suppose to use only nizoral or can I use nizoral then apply my regular thickening shampoo? If latter, is order of use important? Thanks

Nizoral then conditioner.

I don't pre-wash with another shampoo, but I guess it couldn't hurt if it's a daily shampoo.
