propecia question

hey guys i was wondering if propecia regrows hair as well... also, once i stop using propecia my hair will fall out again?? how long am i sopposed to be using this?? is propecia a pill drug or is it like rogaine where you have to spray it onto your hair..

Propecia (1mg Finasteride) is a pill taken once a day. Once you begin taking it you will have to keep taking it because once you stop your hair loss will kick in again. Yes Propecia does regrow hair, although for maximum regrowth use it together with Minoxidil. It may take upto 12 months to see results, but I think between 3 and 6 months is the average.
