Some months ago, I was in contact with Merck U.K. - I wanted to know how long it took for the subjects' hormone levels to return to baseline after stopping treatment, in the Propecia trails. They refused to give me this information, but the representative gave me a link to propecia.co.uk. I had been on propecia.com and read both the prescribing information leaflet and patient product information leaflet, and apparently the same leaflets were available at the U.K. site - but the prescribing information leaflet wasn't the same. In the U.K. version, they stated that all hormone values returned to baseline within 2 weeks. I confronted them with this - never got a response, and shortly after - the U.K. site was taken down.
This is making me mad, and I would appreciate if someone in the U.K. could contact the proper authorities and get a copy of the U.K. version of the prescribing information leaflet, because unfortunately - I don't have a copy!
