Propecia, please help

I'm 24 and took propecia for four days last week before deciding it wasn't for me. My last day was last Wednesday. I've noticed I started to shed a little hair on top and on the sides and even the back. It's gotten better as the days go by. These hairs aren't the length as the rest of my hair, they're rather tiny. My main concern is my breasts. Is it possible to develop gynocomastia after four pills? My breasts have been hurting a little bit and my nipples are a little different and "puffy" and I don't know if my mind is playing tricks but they look bigger to me. Thanks to anyone who can reply.

You could try a lower dose. Maybe .25mg MWF.

Did the symptoms start when you were taking finasteride or after you stopped? I would think that such a short amount of time you were on it will not cause gyno that quickly. Having tender nipples does not necessarily mean you have gyno. Stop rubbing them all the time to check (it will irritate them--not tyring to make a joke here) and if the tenderness does not calm down in a few days, you may want to have it checked out.

When I was on the pill for four days anything would make my nipples hard, like if it was cold. After getting off, it still happens but less frequently. Now my nipples are always semi sticking out as if they are hard but there actually soft. Should that go away? And I'm assuming the little shedding is due to the propecia and will go away as well? Please answer guys.

4 days imo is too short for the drug to have ANY effect on hair. dunno abt ur nipples though, if u ve stopped u ll b alright, stay +ve

It definitely did have an effect because I have never shed in my life before. Little hairs come off from the top of my head, the sides, and back of my head now for about a week and a half.

well it must ve been for some other reason, but you know better about your scalp, was just chiming in based on general reaction of the drug.

I highly doubt you can get gyno from 4 pills, its probably psychosomatic..don't underestimate your brain
not to say you can't get gyno from finasteride though, I did, just not in that amount of time
