Propecia Needed Post Hair Transplant Procedure?

Hey guys -

When I look into hair transplant procedures, it looks like everyone has a regimen of basically Propecia and minoxidil post-op.

Is this some kind of mandatory protocol now otherwise the hair post-transplant isn't retained?

I know a lot of people are on it, but a friend of my took propecia several years ago and it burned out his endocrine system according to him and his doctor (who didn't prescribe it) and he lost his sex drive.

I have concern around Propecia and that endocrine problems and sex drive loss are under-reported.

Any perspectives or advice appreciated!

With some sort of medication u try to prevent further hairloss. Its not the rule that u must using propecia, but if you are for example norwood 3 and have hair transplant, then is wise to use medication, because it will looks stupid when u lost native hair behind the front. If you cant tolerate propecia, try minoxidil, something is always better than nothing, maybe u respond good.
