ive been on propecia for about 10 months now and my hair has thinned a lot, i went from having big spikey hair to buzzing it with a number 2 razor, its depressing, could this thiningin be part of the propecia process? or has it just destroyed my hair from behind my hairline and a 3rd of the way back, any one else with a similar problem and or adive?

A few things to think about.

1. If you really think it made your hair worse, then drop Propecia and it should get better.

2. Your hairloss may have sped up and Propecia is doing a lot more than you think.

3. It hasn't kicked in yet, in no way would you be the first person that it took 12 to 24 months for propecia to begin working.

4. Maybe you need to add in Minoxidil at this point.

5. A shed is possible from Propecia, but not thinning, it simply does not cause the hair shaft to thin. MPD does.

6. Where are you getting your propecia from.

Not even close, how closely did you read my post? Read it again.

People never read peoples responses closely enough.........

sorry about not reading ur post carefully i guess im just stressed about this, about to graduate college and this dumb hair stuff, but ya i was shedding until about this last december i would say(i started propecia in june, but got hit with the shedding late) now some places on my head are more "hairy" than others( no one thinks im going bald though until u look under a lamp or sumthing) so im just hoping the propecia begins to add some density
