Propecia & L-lysine

Anyone try this combo? People seem to believe that l-lysine improves the efficacy of Propecia. What does everyone think? I've been using Propecia for 5 years. I think it did stop my hair loss at first but I have seen some thinning in the front. I'm thinking of adding l-lysine to my regimen in hopes that my hair loss stops again. Thoughts?

I've no clue about Lysine, but, you really should add a topical anti-dht to your regime, apply in the "worst" areas. Gel FF is a good deal (Finasteride and Flutamide) or spironolactone.

I started taking L-Lysine with dutasteride then added L-Arginine, L-Arginine in the morning and L-Lysine at night, I also ordered some L-Arginine cream to use as a topical as it increases NO production. It's to soon to tell if they are helping but they can't hurt.

Thanks Patrick, if it provide to shorter telogen efflufium it can be nice growth/effects booster. Anyone else?
I'm thinking about adding this to my regimen, at least 1000,1500 mg per day

Ok, so I've been taking 1500 mg of lysine per day, and after 2 weeks I noticed some new hair coming out, little black hairs, not single hairs but larger quantity It's 3,5 month on 0,25 finasteride, but only now after 2 weeks of taking lysine I've noticed the difference

That's great news Guy! I'm also getting new hairs almost every day but I'm using so many things it's hard to say what's doing it, maybe a combo of things. Never the less new hairs growing are always a good thing. unk:
