1) When people say they want to regrow hair at the temple do they mean the hair just in front of your ear and slightly above your eyebrow or do you mean the corner of your hairline ?

2) Is Propecia worth taking for a receding hair line all i find is evidence to suggest that there is no great help, or does age and the signs of occurance with male pattern baldness and the time taken to get your act together help the effectivness of treatment?

I used regaine six months ago had a massive shed of hair on my left corner of my hair line which has been left patchy and thin and you can see characters of norwood 3 when its when or combed forward *( i dont have digtal camera sorry) i stopped using regaine because i wasnt expecting that reaction and was scared a common occurance i've read, but i would have preferred to have kept that supposedly weak hair and let it degrade slowly or help it with propecia rather than lose it all at once i have been on propecia now for 2 months to try and reverse the effects of the regaine and see if i can get my hair thick again, but as of yet have seen no regrowth, what im suorised by is the seemingy thinck hair i list hasnt been replaced at all?? and every day i check the mirror hoping for it to spring back (sad i know) its like in once cycle it just up an left.

I've read a few doctors who have recommended propecia as a first line of deffence in young cases such as myslelf (21) for people who have wanted a hair transplant and after a year not needed one ,

3) I also have blond hair which makes it hard to tell! have expericenced sheds with the propeica at the hair line on both temples? or could this be further recession??

My regime:

Propecia 1mg daily
Nizoral 3 x week
Nourkin ph neutral 3 x week
Aloe Vera Gel x daily application
Vitamin hair supplement tablet (ASDA)

There are no guarantees, but you have good chances at stopping or slowing down the hairline recession with Propecia.

It could, although don't expect more than maintenance. Consider any regrowth a bonus. But even if you don't stop the recession completely, the meds can be helpful. Without them your crown will probably start thinning at some point, it could be sooner than you think.

So far it has worked for me, along with some other things... I'm at the 4 or 5 month mark now and
I have had good results on the hair line. No doubt I'm still bald but I have a lot of new growth that
was not there before. I need to update my pics soon.

Will it fill in enough so that it does not look thin? Time will tell but I'm hopeful.
