Propecia/Generics

I did a search and could not find current info on the following questions:

1) Is generic propecia just as good? Where is the best place to purchase?

2) Is a blood test necessary? I used propecia before and did not experience the other side effects like sexual desire problems etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

generic propecia has the same drug in it as propecia ( finasteride) so it would be just as "good"

I my self and many others use inhousepharmacy to get finasteride.

I didnt take any blood tests, that would be up to you.

I would think that most people would not through the hassle of a monthly blood test, if the side effects listed generally do not affect the liver.

I just wanted to know why do some doctors require it and some do not.

Why do you use the real propecia instead of generic?
If they are the same, why would you pay more for it?
