My hairline has been getting thinner and thinner and moving back. I want to start Propecia but I know its is for 18 years old and up. I have dermatologist appointment on May 22. I talked to my dermatologist about my hair thinning and she said it doesn't look like it but all she did is run her hands through my hair, that was 4 months ago. It has gotten thinner, I will ask her if she can give me Propecia but I highly doubt she will. If she doesn't I can afford to get it from an online pharmacy. I just want to know what is the worst thing that can happen if i do take it?

My hair used to be thick that it was pain in *** to style it. Now, its so thin that some places looks full others look thin than thick than thin..

what is the crown like? Is there thinning there?
Well the crown is thinner than the hair around it. I have no idea if this is how it was before.

When I read your post, I thought you were with almost shiny head. You still have full hair at front and I see no pattern recession yet. It is possible that your hairline may have inched higher. I would not start finasteride for your age. Keep an eye for years before you confirm that you have Androgenetic Alopecia. Do not use finasteride at least until age 18 or more.

The crown, MAYBE, the hairline is good, I see no thinning at all, but the crown does look suspect. As for starting Propecia, not at 16, the dermatologist would lose his/her job if they gave you a script for finasteride.
What are my options than? If i can't use finasteride or rogain than what! I am freaking out!! I know i still have hair.. My hair line did go up so idk... It keeps getting worse. By the time i am 18 I'll be nor 1...

You can use Rogaine! Just not DHT inhibitors at your age. If I were you I'd get minoxidil and Nizoral shampoo, you can get them from minoxidildirect, google it, they have some GREAT prices, I'm sure people here will vouch for that site.
Okay i can get the shampoo but for rogaine will my hair become depended on it? I don't have a job so if i stop using it for a month or two will my hair fall out?

Than there is no point of taking it... lets say i can afford it, would my hair loss get worse? for example the parts i apply it on get better than other parts do they keep getting worse?
