Propecia early your thoughts?

If Propecia is started during the first signs of balding how effective is it? and how long can hair be maintained for if your a good responder?

Sooner is better as you have a high chance of maintaining your hair. If you respond well you could stay the same for 10+ years I believe.

I wouldn't go as far as to say forever haha. Genetics is ALWAYS going to win out, but it's just a matter of how long each person has. Some people will maintain for 5-10 years, some for 15. You just never know. There's so many unknown variables with each individual. If you get it early, and years down the road you think you are starting to lose ground, you can always add minoxidil and give yourself another 5 years give or take. Personally, my hair was looking better on the drug after about 8 months on the big 3, but unfortunately my body just couldn't handle the drug like most people so I had to discontinue use. It's the most proven hair loss medication out there, but there's no definitive timetable as to how long it will keep your hair.
