Propecia - dumb question

Does it cause the hair to shed a lot less or is it just to make the hair thicker? I'm getting on it real soon

Propecia can cause a shed when you first start it. It doesn't actually make hair thicker, what Finasteride does is that it keeps your hair from further miniaturization. If you're to get regrowth, the hair should grow back thicker if a shedding does occur since there is less DHT to disrupt the anagen phase of hair.

Regrowth is not uncommon but rarely noticeable to naked eyes.Try minoxidil for regrowth.
