Hey all. My fight against hairloss continues, as it seems to be getting worse in my vertex region. My hair is very thin all over the top of my head, and im developing a little thin spot at the vertex. Ive started applying rogaine there, but I was wondering if It would be good to start the propecia. I really didnt want to start that til i was about 19, but it looks like ive no choice. My Doctor says the side effects aren't as prevelant as people make them out to be, but im still a little worried. Anyway just wanna get some imput on it, but I think im gonna go for it.

I am 19 and very visably balding, the type that effects the entire top part of your head. I am in school right now and returning home early may, this is when i plan to start doing somthing about it. I am going to use a regimin of propecia and rogaine, as well as nizoral. Is there anything else that I should use? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions such as revivogen? Feel free to list some ideas as well as personal experiences that have worked fairly well. Thanks...

Even if I had a doctors script, I wouldn't do it. There are plenty of other topical options to exhaust first. Consider revivogen and spironolactone. By the time you know these products work or not, more than likely you will be fine for Propecia.

Good luck!
