I'd hopefully like to put some minds at rest about the propecia fertility issue.
I began taking propecia in February 2014 for a receding hairline, I had some decent results in slowing down the process and some minor regrowth, all was good, my dose was 1mg per day
Around Christmas 2015 my girlfriend and I decided the time was right to start a family, I began doing research on propecia and fertility and was starting to become concerned as the internet seems to be littered with guys who are having trouble conceiving and poor sperm analysis whilst using propecia.
Due to the warnings about propecia and pregnancy I decided to quit cold turkey in February 2016.. I immediately noticed I was enjoying sex more.and my erections became much stronger. Over the course of the next 5 months my semen thickened and we have just had a positive pregnancy test this week.
I have noticed some minor shedding but my hair loss has remained quite stable ,
I just wanted to put it out there that you can conceive post propecia.
I may use propecia again in the future if I start balding from the back
