This kid is 17 and people on here are advising him to take finasteride? You guys are crazy, leave that for the doctor to decide.
I'm seeing derm next week. If i get fina i'd take 0.25g which is not that much

lol you guys are crazy recommanding oral minoxidil boyos !
start with fina and topical minoxidil
I'm actually more scared about taking minoxidil than fina. I've heard lots of stories of people saying minoxidil ruined their hairline. And as i understand minoxidil is used mostly to improve density and doesn't have much effect on hairline so i don't think i really need it. I hope I get fina at least.

In the spanish forums almost no one recommends minoxidil for the hairline xd

At age 17 I went from my juveline hairline straight to a nw2...I think this is a combination of me getting a mature hairline + forehead being quite big and balloony. Im soon 28 with the exact same hairline (knock knock on wood). You could very well be keeping ur nw2 for at least 10 years more if not being one of those luckers that keeps it all the way.

No. It can be because of male pattern baldness, but I think I simply developed a mature hairline in combination with a rather large or ball like forehead which made the change look greater than it perhaps was. I havent taken finasteride or anything, tho I take supplements, vitamins of different kinds etc. Maybe they don't do wonders, but getting vitamins is never wrong.

You are very young and I'm guessing you will keep your nw2 for years to come. Just keep an eye on it. For now nothing looks out of order, but if you notice it getting worse then you can start thinking about treatments. You are to young to be playing with your hormones...so I would recommend that you do not get on finasteride.
