Check out the write up for procerin it talks of Propecia like it's a bad thing.

http://www.hairlosswatch.com/procerin_h ... r_loss.htm

This confused me a bit as there is proscar, procerin, and propecia.

I have spoke of procerin and propecia in the past like it's the same thing (confusion/clumsyness) I now think that propecia and proscar are in the same family, derivatives of Finaseride? and proscar is the same as propecia but a cheaper brand which is just as effective? and procerin is probably not as good, and has a similar name to propecia for marketting purposes, so it probably isn't very good.

That site I pointed to does have write ups on each product, but I find this site to be informative and real (I'd hope it's not a bunch of salesmen) and am not interested in the write ups on that site.

Thanks for providing lots of help everyone, if you could clear the above up / confirm all it'd be great.

ok .. oops

after looking on the forum it seems that procerin has a lot of SCAM hype attached it it, i'm not looking to start a debate so hopefully this can be kept at bay, it seems to have worked for some people, but it's named (in my opinion) very close to Propecia, well not really but similar which is something I do not trust as beleive this to be a nasty bit of marketting, finasteride seems like the one to go for here. maybe it's worth taking some multivitamins with this I've noticed this on users lists - it'd probably be good for someone like me who doesn't eat much fruit or veg?

believe me when I say

Proscar is 5mg of finasteride made by the pharmaceutical company Merck.

Propecia is 1mg of finasteride made by the pharmaceutical company Merck.

Procerin is a scam product with no proven efficacy.

Who exactly? Mister X on http://www.anonymous.com ? Unfortunately this is why clinical data matters. Unverifiable claims are just that: Unverifiable. In that light, I wouldn't put a single bit of validity to them. You don't know who typed those reviews. I could have done it. Grandma could have done it. Data is what intelligent people look to for % chance of efficacy. When a product has a complete lack of it, then you don't spend any time wondering about it.

I guess there are so many scam products out there, that's terrible when you think about it.

Thanks for clearing that up :)

I wasted £50 on that procerin crap. If you really want to try it I can give you a bottle thats lying around my house somewhere, but all it will do is give you headaches. It looks like it was made somewhere in the dark corners of Russia or china. I can't believe I ate that sh*t. Doppleganger you must be a stooge or something.

As other people have said Propecia/Proscar is the way to go.

I'm taking Procerin but simply as a SUPPLEMENT, I don't buy any of this miracle regrowth crap. I know the jury's still out on Saw Palmetto but the way I see it none of the ingredients can do any harm.

As to wether it actually works or not, well no idea cos I also take finasteride, again Procerin is a supplement to me. Although oddly after a few weeks on procerin before I started finasteride the hairs on my knuckles grew in length??
