i have spotted a potential negative of using revivogen.

zinc inhibits copper. copper deficiency is bad for the scalp/hair (hence why copper peptides are used). therefore although topical zinc inhibits local dht, is it not negatively affecting hair health in this way?

amongst other negatives of scalp copper deficiency, one worrying thing is that mental retardation has been linked to low levels of scalp copper.(google it)

Any thoughts

marcules your right in thinking that it would be absurd to jump to the conclusion that zinc can cause mental retardation. however that isnt what im suggesting. im suggesting that evidence would imply that topical zinc would make scalp and hair condition worse.

zinc supplementation is most probably fine, perhaps even beneficial for hair through processes within the body. it is topical zinc that may be an issue because of its direct effect on the cells in the scalp.
