Problem with minoxidil! Hair growing all over!

21 year old male who started taking minoxidil 5% liquid about 3 months ago. While the shedding was a b**ch a first, I've seen some incredible results with lots of hairs around my crown and hairline.

However I've slowly started noticing that I'm growing hairs elsewhere, I have tiny hairs up my cheekbone and by my nose. I already had bushy eyebrows but now they're much more wild and growing outwards. I've used my electric shaver for now, but they're fairly visible from close up as stubble.

Has anyone experienced anything like this or have any advice? I don't want to stop the Minoxidil because I've heard that you lose all the progress you've made, but at the same time I can't deal with these hairs! I included pictures, but its kinda hard to see them cause my camera's low quality and I shaved it earlier today

Yes, experienced the same, but not a problem for me at all. minoxidil does spread to your face, as shown by the effect you're experiencing, which gives some people problems in other departments though.

However, why do you mind these hairs? Noone can see them from any distance farer away than 5 cm.

same here. The thing is to make sure you don't go to bed right after the application or touch your head until it dries up properly. And also make sure you correctly spread it around the scalp and not let it run all over your forehead/face.

Would you recommend sleeping with hairnets or something? I was just thinking that it might be that I roll over onto my pillow and get the minoxidil all over my face
