Hello. Sorry for my bad English. I am writing text using google translate.

I suspect that I have Androgenetic Alopecia(male pattern baldness). In late May, I decided to throw a little weight and within a month reduced the number of calories. in late June, when I reached the maximum reduction in calories, I notice that the hair began to fall heavily, about 5 pieces in hand remained. It lasted for a few days. Further, after that, over time, I started to notice how my hair condition worsens, as if they are getting thinner, or something like that. I thought that this is because of the stress on the body, before I learn about male pattern baldness.

I visited triholog, on visual examination of hair, he did not confirm the Androgenetic Alopecia, and appointed me vitamins and zinc, and Chronostim Ducray. I use them a little more than a month.
My photos in album( http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/album.php?albumid=118 ). Some photo with long hair looks fine, but after haircut seems problematic. Just those where I was short hair cut about 2 weeks ago. Please , give me advice.

It Androgenetic Alopecia is on crown? What in my accident better to use – only finasteride, only min, or both at once? Does it make sense not to use anything for now and monitor the condition of the hair taking photos every week and if the hair will get worse connect medications? whether to be tested for DHT?

Losing weight and reducing calories always leads to hair loss, in everyone. This should stop if you start eating normal food again. I think that is why the doctor prescribed you vitamins and zinc.

So far your hair looks fine, there is nothing wrong with it. You can still develop male pattern baldness later, but currently you have nothing to worry about.

Honestly it's hard to tell if your losing any hair from those photos, way too early to say. Buying drugs before you know for sure if your hair is thinning ain't a good idea. How many months of duta did you buy !

Djhair, hello! I bought a topic duta+min5% for 3 month but the parcel is not yet come) yet there is no bald areas on my hair, but on this photo-collage http://www.hairlosstalk.com/interact/album.php?albumid=121&attachmentid=37309 can see, how much thinned hair, and dynamic.. as far as I know male pattern baldness begins from thinning hair, and then they begin to fall forming a bald area.

I brought the number of calories in August to my normal, but the situation has not changed for 4 month.

Most of the time a person can tell when their hair fall is more than what is should be, if you notice a difference with hair loss then go for it, your at such an early stage for me it's too hard to tell if you are or aren't thinning. Try it for a month and see how you feel.

Hey Rider , if you're concerned I'd try to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. Aside from reducing calories, have you added anything else different to your weight loss regimen? (Maybe increases in protein or other supplements?)

hello! funny to see, but it's been about 6 years since I noticed my hair was changing its texture. either thinned out, or I began to go bald (first of all, I noticed thinning in the area of the temples on 06.2015). in 2016 I started using topical min 12%+ dutasteride 0.1%. smeared the temporal corners every day before bedtime. From about 2018, I started using the dermaroller every 3-4 days. but not seeing any improvement and looking at how, albeit slowly, but the corners are thinning, I stopped using min-dutasteride about 14-16 months ago (at the end of ~ 2019 it turned out that the min+duta I use about 4 years every day). I didn't use anything this time, because I saw that Androgenetic Alopecia did not speed up very much even after canceling the mine. but now there is time to evaluate all the regression that has occurred during this time, and start treatment again.

starting from 14/04/2021 I started using finasteride 1/5 every day. I don't feel any side effects. the condition of the hair has not improved at the moment, the corners are thinning. sorry for so many photos - but here is a story for almost 6 years. I will be glad to hear advice on how to proceed!

hair on edges are usually thin, u can notice it even in woman's hairline

I dont think u are losing your hair at all

U framed it from 2014 to 2021.. If u were losing your hair, 7 years is enough accentuate it even if you are slowly losing it..

Ur taking preventive measures, thats on you and how safe you feel regarding to keep your hair, i wont advise against that..
U are probably very critic regarding to your hair and probably have BDD to some extent..
Regardless of your choice of keeping on meds or not u have very good head of hair and your hair is totally fine, dont worry about it. U havent even developed a fully mature hairline yet..
Alot of people here will have different opinions than mine, thats to proof that the part of us, have literally no idea of what we are talking about, pick your poison.

U should evaluate it better with a hair loss specialist/surgeon to have his personal opinion, then, relax and go live your life and rock your head of hair

I think it's because of the hairstyle. then I could still wear a greater length than now, because the hair was not so thin. now I am cutting my hair shorter.

the problem is that the hair is thinning over the entire area of the head. slowly but steadily. as far as I understand it is called diffuse baldness. the volume of hair that was about 2 years ago is gone. but what now suits me - the main goal is to keep it. for now I will use finasteride at some normal time distance, and then watch.
