Preventing Finasteride Side Effects
Hello Everyone, I've done a lot research on the subject of preventing side effects of Finasteride. I plan on starting on finasteride in about 1.5 months.
Here is what I've gathered (Input gladly appreciated):
-Reducing dose to .2 mg and possibly EOD.
This is obviously an approach that would just lower chances and also effectiveness.
-Taking Aromatase Inhibitors.
Taking supplements such as Grape Seed Extract, Theaflavein extract, DIM extract (or eat more cruciferous vegetables), Resveratrol, and Zinc.
I suppose a combination of these would be a good idea to take along with Finasteride when you start.
-Nitric Oxide
Taking supplements to boost your Nitric Oxide levels can help with ED. Plus, it's great for vascular health.
-Exercise
This one is frankly very important. The less fat you have, the less estrogen has to work with. Dedicated exercising will improve overall quality of life and boost sex drives as well.
There are lists of natural libido boosters available out there, I'd say these are the most helpful with side effects and I will be using them as soon as I start finasteride. Yes, it could be "successful" because I don't experience sides to begin with. I'd rather take extra precautions.
As I am not an expert, just researching. Please feel free to add anything or debate.
