This is fairly common. As we get older, our skin has less and less melanin, the substance that gives it (and hair) pigment. We first notice the reduction in melanin in hair. If you want to treat it, you can use products such as Grecian Formula or Youthhair. These are not dyes, but they simulate melanin and make your hair look like it's normal color again. There is also a supplement called Melancor that may work for you, but it is more expensive and works much more slowly (if it works at all) than the other topical products.

I recommend finding a good hair color and dying it. If you're 24, (I'm 23 and dye mine to hide grey), then you can keep dying it for years and everyone will think its the color you've always had.

Best advice is to go to your stylist and have them do it. It usually runs me around 25-30 bucks, every two months. But, if you want to do it cheap and at home, I recommend using Feria. Pick a shade that is really close to your own.

Depends on the length of your hair. I usually have my hair medium length and somewhat messy, so by the two month mark, I'm okay. If you wear it short, yes it will become obvious so you may have to dye it monthly.

I've used Youthhair. It's very easy to use, you can use it yourself, no need to pay a stylist. You simply run it into your hair every day until the gray is gone. It will probably take a few days. Then use it once a week or so to keep the gray away. It's much easier to use than dye, and your hair color is your natural color. Youthhair has an odor that I don't like, so I don't use it when I'm going to work. You can put it on in the evening and wash it out the next morning. I use it Saturday mornings now.

I would be happy to have all my hair grey. I would not mind to dye it all the time. Unfortunately there is not hair on my head  Instead of very thin and bright vellus one.

Next week I am going to add spironolactone, xandrox15 and folligen into my big 3 regimen to try to change them into terminal ones. This is my last chance :freaked2:

Have you had success with Youthair. The feedback around the net seems 50/50 on this product.
