Hello everyone. I would really be happy if someone with some more experience could give me some insight with an issue I'm dealing with.
Long story short, I was on finasteride (1 mg day) & minoxidil (2x day) for about 8 years. It worked great for the first 5 years, but my hairloss was so aggresive that it just got worse, and getting hold of duta was not possible in my country. Therefore, I decided to go for a hairsystem.
I've worn a hairsystem for about 10 months now. I am about a norwood 2.5/3, so I only use a hairsystem for the temples.
I used Ghost Bond initially, but I had an awkward situation during sex where it fell out (lmao), and decided to swap to tape. The tape I decided to use was Walker No tape, which I had massive success. I would wash my templates about twice a week, every 4 days or so, without any issues, irritation etc.
Then, when summer came by, I suddenly noticed irritation. Body was itching alot including my templates. I'm an extremely active guy, gym + 15K steps daily. I took of my templates like usual, and I applied them like usual but this time I made the mistake of coming up with the briliant idea of using a razor to remove baby hairs, and it ended up causing microdamages, then I applied Scalp Protector (which stung & burned), and still thought it was okay to apply the system.
After that event, 3 days later, I had to take off the system as it severly itched. Here is what it looked like:

After that I freaked out, assumed I was never going to be able to use a hairsystem anymore. I assumed I was allergic to the tape, so I did a patch test on my leg. 2 days completely fine, no issues, until third where it started itching, I took it off, it was slighlty red, and i'm sort of hyperfixating on the area and it feels like it's itching.
I had to wear my system yesterday, but I let my templates rest for about 70 hours, applying cortisone creme to ease the area. It now looks like this:

Idk what to do. Does this look like an allergic reaction or is it just mild irritation? Do you suggest I try walker tape again once I am completely healed, or swap over to something else? Was the patch test on my leg an indication that I am truly allergic/irritated to this?
The first picture looks absolutely horrifiying imo. Second one looks like hyperpigmentation?
