Hair is not unlike the earths very own 'scalp' covering, trees, it has long been know that fire is part of a forests natural life cycle, a forest fire removes very old trees making way for new saplings and contributing to the forests health, it also adds massive amounts of ash the the forest floor which enriches the soil allowing for greater proliferation of the tree. Without naturally occuring forest fires every few decades a forests growth would be limited.

I have found that our hair is not so different from the forest model.

I recommend a once monthly hair fire, letting the flames burn down to the root, care should be taken to make sure the 'hair ash' that forms is allowed to sit on the scalp until it is naturally taken into the follicle by the 'magic hair ants' (these magic hair ants I will go into at some length later)

I use lighter fluid and bar-b-que firelighter blocks to start the 'hair fire' but kindling would do much the same.

Good Luck

I just tried the said method.

Suffice to say that I will definitely not be going into the office tomorrow.

This is a good sign, a sign that it worked, be happy.

Accurate theory. Ge are getting to the root (ahem) of the matter.

Also, my hair is green, so I found coincidence even greater.

I´ve been thinking. There´s no need to fire up the thing if you carefully think about it.

You just have to suministrate nutritive elements to your forest.

Put it in your mind, and outside parts:
