As DHT binding to the Androgen Receptors on certain hair follices is thought to be the main cause of hair loss, could a pill treatment be invented that just binds to these receptors and doesn't lower DHT - a sort of magic bullet?
Because if there was a treatment that doesn't reduce the amount of DHT in the bloodstream there wouldn't be the possibility of side effects
Or is it the case that a certain amount of DHT/Androgen Receptor binding is necessary for normal hair growth? The background info on this site suggests that
