Possible hair loss and I have no idea!!!

Hi,

I'm only about twenty and have quite thick dark hair. My father doesn't have any major hair loss however my grandfather started going bald at about the age of 20.

I have a slight thinning on my crown, should I be worried about it or is this normal? I haven't noticed any change, but it's an area of my head I've never really paid much attention to. I tend to lose a lot of hair in the shower however I don't comb it.

I think some "corrosion" in your temple areas that is more than just mature line will tell you a lot. If you feel you are losing a lot of hair in shampooing etc on top of some thinning you seem to notice; then unfortnately, your intuitive assessment should be alarming. Pictures of temples, crown etc might help us tell you what we think?
