Possible damage from a hair styling product?

Does anybody know much about hair damage from styling? I was away with my friends for a week and I was using a ‘got2B’ styling powder on my hair to give my flat/fine hair some volume. Literally 2 days later I looked in the mirror and my hair at the front where I used the most of my powder is completely fucked. It literally looks like I’m diffuse thinning in one patch on my head. It’s short and straw like.

Does anyone have an idea if my hair will grow back in this situation?? Or is this something I need to worry about?

Literally just looks like scalp where your hair is parted. Wouldn't worry.

Thanks for the reply! I promise I’m not trying to be one of those guys that looks for some comfort from comments but Something has definitely happened. That front part of my hair feels completely different to the rest of my hair.
