Possibility of more drugs like propecia in the future

Anything better than the current propecia and Dustaride in the works now?

What are your views that maybe more powerful drugs in the future may be invented which other than inhibiting DHT, they may also destroy androgen receptors, with strong growth simulators ect....

Hair multiplication and gene therapy are on the way, so I doubt we'll see anymore pills like Propecia, maybe some new topicals to hold us over until the "cure" is here.

I think gene theraphy holds a lot of promise...

I wish HM and GT were on their way but their not. yeah Hair Multiplication and gene therapy hold alot of promise but when? nobody can say when. I wish a treatment more optimal than Propecia were on their works now. to me that would be my hope because i'm living the moment. I'm stressed about hair loss now.

Damn people. Do you ever do research other than whine about your situation? Look up drug pipelines, research, and projections. No, there is not a date where you will be sended an invitation with raised coral lettering that says "You are invited to the end of hair loss. Please RSVP" but jesus, there is information out there about everything going on, including fiscal/stock projections, which are as close to gospel as you can get.

Stop making statements like "i wish it were going to happen but it never will and you will all bleed from the anus". If you have no scientific data to say its not coming, then its exactly the same as saying its coming tomorrow. You have no idea.

In the interest of avoiding a fire, you are correct. I am whining. It's hard to deal with negative people when you are dealing with a condition like this. It's particularly hard to repeatedly have people state opinion as fact. "There will never be a cure in our lifetime" is an opinion. "I wish HM and GT were on their way but their (they're *sp) not" is an opinion.

I ultimately think the best thing you can possibly do on a message board when you know a lot of the posters are depressed is remain positive. Particularly when you have optimistic research to point to. If you don't, then understand you are hurting a lot more people by posting something negative that may momentarily make you feel good.

This is my last post concerning this. the only reason im responding back it's because your putting t words in my mouth. second, i'm going through the same stress that you are over hair loss before you try to correct someone understand what they mean before you start talking crap and claiming false statement. My statement was an opinion. What i said wasn't negative either. Theres nothing wrong of wishing for better. that was the point of my post so once again you be easy. everyone here have their opinions. so learn how to read positive and negative posts because they are always going to exist here and anywhere. that's life. For maintaining Propecia is the best product anyone could wish for. i just wish there was something more cosmetical at the moment. what's negative about that. Don't get a heart attack on me now 8)
