I just got off the phone with my mom, she broke a bone in her foot about 5 months ago and it still hasn't healed yet. She was telling me that during her last visit to the doctor, the doctor had told her that "her negative thoughts about the injury were effecting the healing of the bone." Now is this something you guys think affects the body and how it responds? And if so, do you think that a positive attitude is something that could help when fighting hair loss?

YES. I, for one, am a HUGE believer that there are mechanisms in the human body that are far more complex than the simple chemical metabolism that we have documented on paper. A happy soul, a person who is well-adjusted, knows where he stands in life, and knows where he is going, and has healthy social interactions has more hardiness in coming down with sickness, and when sick, heals faster than those who are in a mental rut. It's the result of a very complex relationship between the human endocrine system and your conscious and unconcious thoughts. This is just my opinion, I have no facts to back it up but I bet there are plenty of studies that do.

100%... i have always been worried about hairloss... but for the past two years i havent let it get to me at all... i felt great, happy, interacted with people properly and was confident in myself. Recently (1.5 months) i have begun getting a little negative about my hair and as a result its strongly effecting my personality. Is this perhaps effecting my hairloss too? Possibly... but the bottom line is you can make yourself feel great... i wish i could do it all the time! If i keep going this way im bound to only make every facet of my life... including health and hair worse... chin up everyone!

Definitely I do believe.

Thinking everytime about your hair, looking in the mirror at your haircut, etc. make you worry which means stress. It plays a significant role on your treatment, even if you are on tough meds.

I mean any kind of stress will do. Stress due to undone work, for example.

Half a year ago I had a very good 2-week vacation in Europe skiing. I worried about nothing. That resulted in stop of hairloss. By the way, I'm on finasteride since 6.5 months ago. Having returned I faced my boss telling me I should immediately do some work. And hairloss started again. I'm nearly sure it was a shed. But I'm sure as well it was due to stress too.

Now I'm trying to face any problem like "whatever". It doesn't mean I won't try to solve it, but just my attitude to possible failure has changed.

Sport activities do real help to me. Like tough jogging. 4-5 km at very high speed.

I also agree 100%. When your body and mind are in tune then there is nothing that can touch you. You are 100% in the life zone.
