I'll check on my other PC - I might have some useful info stashed there.

But in the meanwhile, the 3 for 1 deal @ Purtian's is a great deal - almost a lifetime supply.

Bottom line from my personal experience - Poly 80 is easy to use, supposedly helps increase the effectiveness of Minoxidil, is inexpensive, might help you, and won't hurt you.

I use it when I can. Just another weapon in the arsenal.

thanks mate,
in the 80's polysorbate was the - "cure" for baldness that make United States go crazy, that was alot before minoxidil and propecia,
i'll be more then happy to see some testimonials

ineffective on it's own imo, can be added to another topical to increase it's effectiveness.

this is also useful because Polysorbate 80 acts as an emulsifier, it effectively mixes multiple compounds together as in products such as "Zix".

yes, i know it's won't worth alot by it's own.
but my plan is to message the PS 80to the all scalp 10-15 before shampoing as accepted

usualy i only treat the frontal area so i think ps 80 is a good addition to my regimen

no one here seems to have any experince with poly except hair_tommorow?

Like another poster stated, Joe uses it in his formulations as an emulsifying agent - but it's such a little bit that I doubt if it does any good except to BE an emulsifying agent (then again, that little bit stays on your scalp 24/7 instead of being shampooed away - so who really knows?).

The stuff from puritans contains biotin and niacin - those ingredients in addition to a daily scalp massage should be of some benefit.

Used to be - poly 80 used to advertise it's strength as helping to reduce / wash away excess sebum. Again, who knows. I saw one ad recently claiming that it helped reduce DHT - really don't think that's true.

Regardless - like I said in my original post - for the price - it's a great adjunct.
