Poll: Propecia more effective on early hair loss?

Hi

I've been hesistating to start on finasteride because of the sides but am at the same time quite apprehensive that if I start later, then it may not work as well.

So I'm putting up this poll to find out if finasteride works better on early hair loss (NW1-2) or that it works just as well even in later stages of hair loss (maybe NW3-5). So here goes my poll questions:-

1. What Norwood scale were you when you started finasteride?
2. Did you experience massive shedding? Which month?
3. Which month did you start to see improvement?
4. How would you rate the effectiveness - better/worse off than baseline.

propecia absolutely has ruined my temples...at least right now...very thin

Read the propecia literature and it will say yes.

propecia absolutely has ruined my temples...at least right now...very thin

How old are you?

Also are you using Rogaine, from what I've read, most people that lose significant ground on temples are on finasteride only.
