Well if it has been prescribed to you by a doctor and you don't notice anything abnormal about your body, then you should be fine. DHT contributes to the development of your penis size, body, and facial hair. Studies have shown that your penis continues to grow till you are 24.

Don't want to freak you out or anything as Finasteride is not the devil like many claim to be and is a pretty safe drug. You just got to make sure that you are totally comfortable taking it and don't second guess once you are on it as doctors know what they are doing when they put you on the pill. If you face any issue whatsoever speak to your Doctor about it rather than reading too much into what people say on the internet.

Its always recommended to get your hormone levels checked just to ensure that estradiol doesn't shoot way beyond the reference levels. Most who discontinue the drug due to side effects generally see a spike in estradiol levels due to the DHT suppression but the ones who low estradiol levels prior to even taking the drug, cope up better.

So your saying I won't lose my title as "Smallest penis in the history of the internet", well that's a plus. I guess the things the sucks is that I will never have a real beard.
i have had several side effects like occasional tingling/numbness in penis during masturbation, oily face, increased acne, watery semen. None of them really concern me though.

I had all those plus tingling sensation near my nipples, slightly lower libido, slow beard growth rate and found it harder to be as intense in the gym as I was without finasteride. The drug also gave me nut aches. I took it only for six months at a low dosage before stopping it. Of course I didn't go cold turkey.

I just had a minor correction to my hairline with about 800 grafts going into my temples and my Doctor wanted me to get on propecia to lower the risk of losing any of my native hair in the long run. So far Minoxidil has worked well for me in terms of combaitng my receding hairline for the last 6 years. My doctor feels propecia is the easiest & safest solution at the moment and doesn't deserve all the bad rap it has got in recent times. Although he did a good job of convincing me to try the low dosage again, I am still a bit skeptical as I am only a NW3 on my worst day and if the grafts grow out as expected, I should return to a NW2 for the first time in more than a decade. If I do get on any anti androgen, it will be a topical like spironolactone or eucapil. Finasteride will be my last resort.

Sir I've been on finasteride for like 37 days....nd nvr experienced any side effect....instead my libido has been increased....I don't know whether my semen has become watery or not...m also happy with my penis size...also I hvnt experienced any lost of intensity in gym....so cn I continue with finasteride???my Doctor didn't check any hormone level....he frst suggested me nly minoxidil nd some vit tablets....I convinced him to prescribe me finasteride....is there still any chance to experience side effects??as I hvnt experienced anything in these 37 days???

You seem like a NW2 at max from those pics. Since finasteride agrees with you quite well, it would be wise to be on finasteride alone initially. Add stuff like Minoxidil when you feel finasteride is not doing its job on its own.
