i was shedding my eye lashes for a while but it seems to have stopped. Anyone have this problem? My hair is getting really bad right now. I have bad seborrhea dermatitis and am having a hard time getting rid of it. I get chunks of skin coming off with patches of hair. Anyone know the relation of seborrhea and yeast?? please help me out, noone ever responds to me.

cutting your hair really short may help. this is what I do whenever my scalp becomes a problem. after a week or so my scalp feels like the rest of my skin. you cant have dandruff if you dont have much hair.

suppliments like folligen/tricomin or grape seed extract may be benificial.

the flakes are probably due to the bad seborrhea which you need to get under control. are you using nizoral 3x a week? this should prob be sufficient. you need to have a healthy scalp to stop the hair loss.

if its not sufficient, you need to see a specialist - you really need to deal with this scalp issue or youll keep losing hair and finasteride wont be able to work as effectively. see a dermatologist/trichologist asap.

today i decided to shave my head. I couldn't take the constand chunks of skin and hair coming off and i shaved it before and it got rid of the seborrhea. i was so worried about it cause i have lost a lot of hair, and the last time i shaved my head i was doing it for about a year and you could really see the diffused thinning. after i did it i was pleasently surprised to see that it was not all that bad shaved at a number 1 on the clippers. I don't know if it was an improvement or not cause when you shave your head a lot (like bic it) it doesn't all grow in right away. i am not putting my faith in thinking that the propecia has worked over the last 8 months...but i just wanted to say that i have bbeen suffering the pain a lot and am experiencing a temporary relief. :)

Congrats, Jim. I always found shaving my head to be a relief not only for my scalp, but for my sense of self.. theres no worrying about how thin the hair looks when you barely have any.. its definitly a load off the old noggin.
