please look at my hair and advise a regimen

My hair wasnt ever omnipresent but I first noticed hairloss like 4 years ago Sad Now I want to do something about it! I am mainly interested in keeping what I still have. Also, I want to go topical-only.

Should I focus on preservation? or should I also try regrowing?

Is all what one gains lost once the treatment is halted?

i've got similar loss on the temples. People have had good regrowth with rogaine on the crown around here and I would recommend propecia to halt further loss (its worked well for me at least). Those two are great starters, see how they work.

If I were you,
then I would try to hault hair loss with DHT inhibitors (Propecia, Revivogen, Dutasteride, etc.)

But because you don't want to take a pill, I think that your best bet might want to try maintenance with Revivogen. It's topical, and it actually slows/haults/reverses male pattern baldness at its root.
