Hello, I am new to this forum.

I just signed up to ask some of you experts a question about propecia.

Im thinking about going on propecia but I am a little scared of using it to be honest.

Im might sound stupid and clueless about asking this question but I will ask anyways.

If im correct, propecia blocks DHT(the hormone that causes hairloss), and since DHT is a product of testosterone, doesnt that mean that when there is LESS or NO DHT then there will be way more testosterone? Propecia claims that it doesnt work on receding hairlines and the temple areas, just works on the crown and mid scalp. So my question is, woudnt the exrta testosterone kill a persons hairline while on propecia? I mean yes you are saving the crown and mid scalp, but for what when the front hairline will be thin and bald?

Also I have a another question.

I have read on many forums that people claim propecia made them lose more hair while taking the drug and it made there hair worse than prior starting propecia. Is that any true? That is why I am a little skeptical about starting propecia.

thank you
