I probably wouldn't even think about having kids for at least 5 years, so I will definitely consult my doctor long before then. I just wanted to see some experiences for those who had kids and were taking finasteride. From the research I did it seemed safe as long as it was not handled by your wife, but again just wanted to see if there were any real life experiences I can reference.

Hey guys,

I have been taking finasteride for about a week now and have not noticed anything major pop up luckily. The one thing that I had a question about was stomach aches. Is it normal to have stomach aches while you are adjusting to this?

Sort of in the same camp. NW1.5 at age 41. Started diffusing at 39 only after starting Thyroid medication. I know male pattern baldness is a big part but there are other factors at play.

You're 41 and only a Norwood 1.5??? In my opinion you already made it.

I’ve been lucky. But 41 isn’t as old as you might think and I like to keep as much as possible.

I can understand that but you also should put your situation in perspective, at your age it is much more uncommon to have NO recession than have some or baldness.
