My name is Leslie Turner and I am a senior in high school. I am in a Biomedical Innovations class and a requirement to pass the class is conduct a research project.
My research question is:
How has alopecia influenced the way you think and make decisions? How does alopecia make you feel as a person and in society?
As someone who has experienced alopecia and has a younger sister who has a very serious case of the condition, this is something that is dear to my heart and hope that we can get more answers on the topic.
If any of you are willing to participate in answering some survey questions that would be awesome. All answers/identies will remain anonymous.

What was your first reaction to getting it?
How have you managed to cope with it?
Has it ever caused you embarrassment, stress, loss of confidence, or depression?

Does having alopecia affect your decision making? If so, how?

What do you dislike most about having the condition? Are there any positives?
