We know most people here would have surgery for their hair. But what about for your face?

For example, everyone's heard of Botox right? Well theres something out that is just like it,except it's effects are permanent. Silikon1000 is it's name. I'm also looking into getting the dark circles under my eyes fixed with eye surgery etc...

Anyone else?

StormShadow:

Man o Man you must be in the modeling business or something. First off all you post your pictures asking about a hair transplant when you have a near perfect hairline, now your on here talking about botox when your only 25.

My two cents, save your money from facial surgery and check out a good shrink. You have some marbles rattling around in your head that are giving you some skewed perceptions of yourself man. Nobody's perfect.

ur obvousily a perfectionest. Any little detail that bothers you is amplified many times, and no matter how much sense you convince yourself you have, it will always look way worse to you than it actually does.

Permanent is such a long time, personally I would just deal with the Botox injections because there might be some point down the road were it might not look right. I would go for a face lift before I would use the Silikon1000, because that would take care of your entire face not just certain areas.

I am all in favor of plastic surgery, the problem is only with those people that don't know when to stop having it done, or try to look too young.

Some people are just rude in this post and it is uncalled for. Disagreeing is one thing, but some of the above posts are just uncalled for. These are the same people that take pills and apply minoxidil to their head and then say you are a "perfectionest," "check out a good shrink," and then say "that you will go through life being very unhappy." Obviously everyone on this site is unhappy with the way they look or they would just let their hair fall out and not give a damn, but as we can see you are here.

I say if you think you need to have it done then go for it, because there is nothing wrong with it at all.

Thanks odelay. Appreciate that man.

Guys, I was simpy asking your opinion on the matter. I am a moderately good looking guy and right now I'm seeing a gorgeous girl. I know I will never be perfect. But there are some things I'd like to change etc....

I'm not gay or a metrosexual. I just want to look good. The idea of losing my looks due to hairloss and other issues, really scares the crap out of me.

I wouldn't say that i'm a perfectionist by any means and that my being on this site makes me guilty of that at all. I don't strive for perfection, simply complacency. I don't want a perfect hairline I just want to look good enough so that my high school friends don't ask me what's going on with my hair. The comments directed toward stormshadown concerning being a perfectionist were derived from the fact that he created a thread asking about a hairtransplant when he had perfect hair.
In addition I realize that some of the comments above were unneccessary but I think all of us were just trying to drive the point across that at 25 a procedure like that is completelly ridiculous.

Stormshadow: Good luck with girl, but if she really likes you, her feelings for you aren't going to flunctuate based on whether the circles under your eyes become a shade lighter.

Yeh any girl worth being with will not judge you JUST by your looks. If a girl is only gonna stay with you because of your looks she aint worth being with, beleive me I've been through that. Do what I did, get yourself an ugly looking girl, she stayed with me for 3 years, then you can have fun on the side and not have to put any effort into the real relationship. Oh the joys of being young and having hair! To think that was only a year ago :p

Disclaimer: She wasn't really ugly, she was quite ok looking actually

While his hairline might be great for one person it might not be acceptable for someone else, everyone is different. Just because you would never have Botox or whatever at 25 does not mean you know his situation, because he might need it after all. Some people's lives are harder than others or they might just be born with some facial feature that is unsightly to them. People have rhinoplasty done when they are still teenagers, are they too insane? The whole point of cosmetic surgery is to make yourself look as close as possible to what you decide to look like, it's all about making yourself feel better. As long as the person is informed about what they are doing, and in some cases old enough to make an sound informed decision, then it's their choice.
