Ive been on Proscar, nizoral, Vitamins, and Flax for 2 months now and noticed dark peach fuzz hair in front of the hairline and on the temples. After closer examinations of looking for signs of regrowth, Ive noticed the fuzz which I never noticed before. If anything, they were not pigmented before the treatment. Not sure if its me noticing because Im actually looknig and inspecting with a keener eye or if this came about because of the treatments. Is this a sign or is it nothing at all??

i have the same thing in the front of my hairline. ive had it for like six months now and none of it seems to have grown significantly at all, at least compared to whats left of my terminal hair. then again i might just be being pessimistic. ive noticed improvement in the way my hair has appeared overall but when i look closely at my hairline the "pigmented peach fuzz" still appears to be sitting there exactly as it was six months ago. could grow out better later on, or maybe not. time will tell (although so far it hasnt)

well surely there are more folks here taking treaments that can vouch for this. Im all excited now that I see thousands of dark stubble hairs all over the front hairline. Has anyone taking these treatments actually gained thousands of new hairs on the front of the hairline? If not, why wont this sh*t grow? It's just sitting there waiting to grow and obviously the hair follicle has not died years ago.

After a month and a half my hair looks so much healthier and the follicles themselves have gotten thicker and darker. Im feeling pretty damn good right now.

i've got them to.... and they are getting bigger and bigger... ALL over the temples... also where i didn't even think i had a hairline... and thats why i dont think they will become terminal... but maybe SOME of them can....

Im also 1.5 month into propecia, and 2 month into minoxidil...

lets see what happens...

I took finasteride for a year about 1.6 years ago meaning I stopped about six months ago and started experimental but finasteride def returned fuzz but I really doubt finasteride will return the fuzz by itself. I have read a couple of posts a year or so back that this guy had managed to grow his fuzz out to one inch vellus but it was thin and colorless so he had to dye it. Personally my fuzz has just recently started to respond after a long time of just sitting there as very short fuzz. Fuzz is very content at being just fuzz! Although we have minoxidil on our side which will eventually create a longer vellus after years of use.

sounds good, but did that fuzz have any color at all? What I have is the color of beard stubble. The colorless peach fuzz however, everybody has that all over the face if you look close in the light. This fuzz I can actually 'feel' when I run my finger across that region.

At the very least, does this mean Im a responder or too early to tell still?

i reckon 2 months is too early to tell, as many times i've seen little hairs and thought a treatment is working, but they were just ex-bigger hairs. take some photos of your melon every couple of months and see how it goes.

I know the difference between face fuzz and hairline hair and these vellus are hairline hairs I lost years ago and now are returning. Its to early for you to tell. Wait at least four months at least. Also, most folks are responders but to different degrees.
