This aint even the usual male pattern right? What the f*** do I have female pattern hair loss? I have ZERO recession of the hair line, same as when I was 14.

Also going thru a big *** shed at the moment due to finasteride and also using minoxidil for 3 weeks but I quit minoxidil cause of sides, and then started shedding like a mother f****r!

HELP ME ,this is KILLING ME, why?!?!

It's really hard to tell the situation of your hair loss due to the long hair, but there are multiple patterns for hair loss so just because there is no recession does not mean your crown area and down aren't slowly thinning, though I have no idea if they are. A better photo for getting an idea of your situation is to get your hair wet and hold it straight up then take a picture of it in the dark with flash on. This lets you see basically the worst case of your hair's current situation.

i actually think you just have diffuse thinning and thats the way it shows up due to you having long hair, imo if you were to cut your hair short it would just appear as diffuse thinning.

yessir, best kind of balding to be treated with finasteride, if you're a decent/good responder id imagine your hair would thicken up enough to hide some more scalp. But you should also be prepared and willing to maintain the hair you have if you're an average responder, alot of folks just maintain. Good luck bro!

Well, If I just MAINTAIN the hair I had 3.5 weeks ago before my finasteride shed, I would be very greatful and just cover the rest up with toppik. Ive lost alot of density over these weeks, I started shedding maybe 1.5 week after my first finasteride pill.

But also, I was 3 weeks on rogaine and then stopped (cause of puffy ugly face and water retention), just when I did, the shedding started lol.

But yea, If I can maintain the hair I had just a couple weeks back, I will be a happy man as I still can hide it with toppik.

Lolol well its f*****g depressing seeing ur hair fall away for sure, im good looking with hair and have always been considered so, but without hair i look like absolute sh*t like just f*****g kill me its over lmfao

The parting on the middle of your hair is absolutely normal. The side is kind of thin though, you should definitely get off the forum and see a dermatologist.

Well I live in a place where it seems pretty impossible to find a doctor who specialise in hair, like, people just dont "care" about that here. And If you do, u usually gotta wait like 5 months for an appointemnt, its redicilous.

I can tell you this: this ALL started exactly 1 year ago when I one day started dropping hairs like MAD MAD, Im talking 500 hairs a day just dropping off my head and extreme itching, it went on for several months, maybe 4 .. before it seetled down, yet not completely. From there Ive been shedding maybe 40-50 hairs a day for a years time, but at the same time alot of hair have been growing back too, lots of "small hairs" sprouting up on my head.

Then like more than a month ago now I decided to do something about it, added minoxidil ... then quit after 3.5 weeks cause my face got very watery, well soon enough hair started dropping like MAD again (I probably activated the minoxidil shed before I quit), I also added finasteride 3 weeks ago.

Still shedding now and going f*****g mad soon
