Pics of my f**cked up head

I began losing my hair last January. It started above my ears and eventually spread all over. The sides are still the worst though. Actually, I am more thinned on the sides of my head than I am anywhere else. If you look at the lower/front sides of my head (behind temple) you will see how it is thin. I've never seen that thin on anyone else before

When I opened that link I was expecting worse. Your hair does not look that bad. If you ever got sick of dealing with your hair, it looks as though, you could sport the bald look very well. good shaped head. good for you, bad for me. I would look like an alien on chemo. :freaked:

Storm, are you on any antidepressants or meds of any kind?

Hairloss starting above the ears and moving all over is not a hallmark of male pattern baldness at all, and looking at your pics, to have equal thinning on the sides of the head as you have everywhere else on the head is also not typical of male pattern baldness. ... unless you have a family history of going 100% bald.

On any illicit drugs or had thyroid functions checked?

Know that some guys are born with hair that thin all around too. Only you know if you've lost density.

Nod...I thought it was just his normal hair on the side. I know a number of guys who have hair that lies funny and you can see the skin through it. This is actually typically in Asains who keep their hair short and spike it.

doesn't look like male pattern baldness to me. Try going to your Doctor and finding out... althought docs aren't good with answers for hair loss either.

Looks normal but see a dermatologist if you're really worried.
