And if I start minoxidil now I will never know if my hairloss eventually stops or not. As you have a similar hair loss pattern, what treatment do you think works the best?

for me, absolutely nothing has worked lol. i had a rat's nest before finasteride and minoxidil and i have the same rat's nest after using both every day for a year. now i have used nothing for a year and a half, and there has been no change. it may be controversial but i might even recommend doing nothing for a couple months and seeing if you stabilize, but that's up to you. you're in your late 20s now and still have most of your hair, so i think your case isn't the end of the world and it might not progress as badly as you may fear.

for the most part your hair is going to do what it wants. if you're going bald, you're going bald with finasteride too. if you took finasteride and kept most of your hair, you probably would have kept it without finasteride too. these drugs are jokes compared to the power of genetics. but people like to do something to at least give themselves the illusion of resistance.

I'm planning on starting regenepure, Nizoral and topical minoxidil. If I see my hair loss stops (like it did 4 years ago) I will keep on that regimen. Otherwise I will add topical finasteride.

What do you guys think?

Best to get on finasteride as soon as you notice thinning. Finasteride can help you maintain hair but rarely do you get much noticeable regrowth. I waited to long and now all finasteride has been able to do is maintain this diffuse bum fluff on top of my head.
