I saw someone posted:
perspiration contains salt, which dehydrates and oil which is saturated with DHT. When left on the scalp, it is absorbed into skin cells and follicle. It also adds a film layer of build up. Wipe it, wash it or rinse it. But get it off your scalp.

I personally like allowing the sweat from my workout the night before to remain on my head the next day because it seems to add density to my hair. Could this be causing hairloss???
