Perhaps not a responder?

I've been on finasteride since mid march - so about 8 months. I've been on finpecia for 6, and finast for a solid 2 months (both from united pharm). I am still experiencing some thinning in my crown area and parts of my hairline are slowly receding also. Could i just not be a responder? Or should I wait a lot longer? Right now I only care about maintenence, so growth isn't a big issue.

I also started Propecia in March. After 1 and a half months I noticed the front of my hairline start to thin. I think it was just the continuation of the thinning that prompted me to start Propecia in the first place as I don't think I was on Propecia long enough to have any impact on my hair. The slight thinning in the front has increased over the past months and my overall density has thinned throughout. I originally started Propecia for my receding temples and slight thinning on the crown. The crown seems to have remained the same. I guess I will give it a few more months -it is hard to tell if you are not a responder since you don't know where you would be if you never took it.

The thign is that it isn't faster than normal, i feel like it is just at the same pace as it was before finasteride. Perhaps i need to give it more time, OR i'm not taking real pills?
