Peppermint Oil Versus Rogaine For Growth

I've read a few articles stating peppermint oil is just as effective, if not more, than Rogaine. Anyone have experience with peppermint oil for hair growth (specifically for frontal hair). Thanks.

Some study from Korea was referenced as evidence on multiple sites. So for frontal thinning should I just go with a conventional method like Rogaine?
