People need to be informed about Hair Loss

Too many people wait until they see dominant signs of balding to start propecia or the big 3. People need to start it once they see thinning of the frontal hairline or any miniscule signs in order to prevent hair loss for a while. If people were educated about this, many people would not suffer from hair loss like they do now. Prevention is the way to go and preach.

I agree. Knowing what I know now I wish I had started sooner.

Drug companies could do a better job of advertising and educating.

Propecia is way too expensive for your average person. Merck should lower the price of Propecia per milligram to that of Proscar if that is possible. I don't know why they price Propecia so high. The price makes people wait until the last minute to start. I make decent money and I waited until I had obvious thinning.

Sites like this will help get the word out.

no you need start as soon as you see the signs...but you have to make sure you are thinning...these are life long commitments...thats why its best to see a doctor.

hair, you are right, definately see a doctor.

I don't agree with people who buy stuff online without seeing a doctor. While finasteride is probably safe for most people, you need to have your liver enzymes checked to make sure you aren't overworking it.

I agree with what both of you said. But Finasteride main target is to maintain hair right? Well if people started it right when their temples began to recede the least bit or slight thinning on the crown, they could possibly maintain what they had and maybe even have teenage like hair if they got on the big 3 asap.

It doesn't always work that way. My hair was in excellent shape (compared to current state) last year when I started finasteride. Now, a year later I'm horribly bald.

some hairloss is not male pattern baldness related, I know its very rare but it could happen.

Yeah but people who can afford Revita should be starting at age 19-20 and onwards, for it will give them the healthiest scalp and atmosphere for their hairs to function in. People dont even know about Revita or Nizoral and how it could help their hair and scalp.
