Not sure if anyone here has any knowledge of this, but the PCPT was the trial for using finasteride to prevent prostate cancer.
I will go straight to my point: all papers, articles and all say something like: "after 18 years of data...". But they also say that the trial ended after 6 years and something (initially scheduled to last 7 years).
My doubt is: did the patients continue to take finasteride after the trial ended? Or they analyzed the data after 11 years? It's not clear..
Why am I asking this? Well, I took it for a **** long time, and as with other people in this forum, looking to use for years to come. I know a couple friends that plan on using it for life (they're on it for 10+ years now). And want to be as much sure as I can in regards to its long term safety..:ermm:
Cheers
