The icon for baldness lmao.
It is fair to say he is a cool looking dude. He rocks the look, he is kinda the icon of baldness.

But that's not the reason I'm starting this thread, I've watched an interviewer ask about his baldness and he said he lost all his hair in one year when he turned 19.Kinda unbelievable to me, he turned into what I can assume a near complete nw7 from a nw1....
I wonder what caused such aggressive hair loss and what do you think he could of done to stop it lol...
Like dutasteride, minoxidil, nizoral and RU58841...war!!!!!

Anyone heard of others stories of people loosing all their hair in a year or less?

He does have a fantastic head though, and possibly the greatest voice in the world. For him it evens out. One year though, that's very hard to believe...

These are the two videos where he talks about his baldness, the guy is beyond cool lol...

Btw guys I was actually asking if you had read any other similar extreme cases of his baldness. Lets remember also no medicine truly stops baldness forever, i was thinking if he did go onto such an extreme regimen which was obviously not available back then how long would it have slowed it down.

Imagine if he got bamboozled to get a FUT, now he would have a scar to go along. If your hair loss is this aggressive there's no point in getting an hair transplant, you'll just have to accept that your baldness will win at the end. Maybe dutasteride would slow it down for a decade or more. Yes it's possible to lose it fast, I've seen it happen even in older men but not to the extent of Patrick Stewart, I doubt it was all gone in a year, he probably was losing the hairs in a diffuse pattern since 15-16.

Only reason why someone starts balding (male pattern baldness) very young is high sensitivity + high DHT activity in scalp and rest of the body. If you have these two than you have chances for premature balding. We know he is very slim, so he probably has a lot of DHT production in his endocrine system, I guess, men with more fat tend to have increased levels of estrogen and estradiol which benefit scalp hair, compared to men who are very masculine and slim and whose T/E ratio is very high in favour of T. That's the only reason.

Is there any information about his father, and maternal grandfather, were they bald ? I know his son is also which implies (since his son inherited AR gene from his mother, Patrick Stewart's wife ) there is at least problem in androgen activity. In my opinion men inherit endocrine profile from their fathers.
