Hi,

I have early male pattern baldness. I also have pain and discomfort in the scalp that comes and goes throughtout the day in varying places on the scalp, its not itching, although i do have that to. I was wondering if this pain/discomfort is normal and if you guys experience it too. Its not from being on any treatments because i havent been on any, i just started propecia today. Should i be worried about it?? I heard about an unexplained phenomonom named burning scalp syndrome that is associated with hairloss, is this what that is? thanx

It sounds like inflammation.. better get yourself some anti-inflammatory shampoo like TGel/Nizoral. I get this sensation too, especially during summer, along with tons of itching.
