Over the Counter options for Topical Vitamin D?

Hi. I have AA and I have strong suspicion that my latest patch has not grown back due to hypovitaminosis d which i had severe last year-was treated and normalized but has resumed to low levels again. My patch has been there for over 10 months during this time period and I've had steroid injections. This is the first time in my 15+ years of AA that my patch/es has not grown back so I am suspicious it is because of the vitamin d situation. I would like to apply topical Vitamin D to the area but I dont' think my derm will write prescription. So, I was wondering if there are any over the counter vitamin d options? I found this lotion on amazon but it's not really strictly topical vitamin d , i think? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...rue&ref_=ox_sc_sfl_title_1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER.
